I really liked playing with Vintorez (Vintar BC) because you find it in the middle of the game (in the base of Freedom fraction in one of the houses naer the tree that falled down) and it is the first sniper rifle with possibility to buy the ammo for it. You can find it in the middle of Chernobyl - in the last locality so you can´t enjoy it for long - that is wrong it think. The best weapon in the game is i think FTM200 (F200). Gauss rifle is first in Pripyat but you can´t take or buy it there - and there is my ADVICE - wait on the snipers with Gauss rifle (blue laser) and shoot them while they are near the border of the roof - then you can hope their gun will fall down to you. I think it is wrong that most of the good weapons could you find first in Pripyat = at the end of the game. As in other parts of the game you can equip your weapon with right scope, grenade launcher and silencer so the basic weapon (AK-47) can be later still very good and useful. You are not able to enhance your weapons yourself in SHOC and enhanced weapons are very rare - Its not wise to sell them first time you meet a better weapon.
